“Tricks, by Ellen Hopkins, is a book about five teenagers from different parts of the country. There are three girls, Eden, Whitney, and Ginger, and two guys, Seth and Cody. Some with great families and some don’t. All searching for something : freedom, safety, and love. All are native and don’t realize how the word “I love you” will change there lives forever.
The stories start off independently at first, but eventually come together to tell a bigger story – a story about choices, falling down, and growing up.
“Because life, and maybe death, will always be a gamble after all.”
I give this book two thumbs up. Its thrilling, racy tale that makes you want to keep reading and never stop! I recommend this to any one who wants to read something more meaningful the werewolves and vampires. I have to warn you though, the book has some vulgar scenes in it, so if you feel uncomfortable with those things, don’t even consider the book! This book sends a real message and I hope you find it as interesting as I did.
Opinion: I have never read this book but I heard it is a really amazing book. Readers out there will be a huge fan of this book because it is funny and crazy. It is just a fun book to read. Readers will not be a able to put this book. We hope you enjoy it.
But once Hannah and Colin get there, things start to seem a bit...off. They can't find the town on any map. The house they are staying in looks as if someone's been living there, even though it's been deserted for years. And Colin doesn’t seem quite himself. As he grows more unstable, Hannah worries about Colin’s dark side, and her own safety.
Nothing is as perfect as it seems, and what lies beneath may haunt her forever.
Opinion: I loved this book. My heart was thumping the whole time because of the intensity and suspense. Readers will get a taste of what it really feels like to be afraid and fight for your life. I hope you readers out there will love this book as much as I did.

Lipstick Apology by Jennifer Jabaley
Sometimes a good-bye is just the beginning?
When Emily Carson's parents die in a plane crash, she?s left with nothing but her mother's last words scrawled in lipstick on a tray table: Emily, please forgive me. Now it's fall and Emily moves to New York City where she attracts the attention of two very different boys: the cute, popular Owen, and her quirky chemistry partner, Anthony. With the help of some surprising new friends, Emily must choose between the boy who helps her forget and the one who encourages her to remember, and ultimately heal.
Debut author Jennifer Jabaley has written a wonderful, feel-good romantic comedy with real emotional depth. Full of lovably wacky characters, Lipstick Apology is a heartwarming story about the true meaning of forgiveness. (Amazon)
The book is written in a really nice way. Its interesting to see how Emily is kind of struggling with her life. It shows you as the reader how good your own live is. While reading the story, I felt happy for her, I felt sorry for her but also really mad at her. The way she works out the problems she had, is not the best way to do.

Die for me by Amy Plum
My life had always been blissfully, wonderfully normal. But
it only took one moment to change everything.
Suddenly, my sister, Georgia, and I were orphans. We put our lives into storage and moved to Paris to live with my grandparents. And I knew my shattered heart, my shattered life, would never feel normal again. Then I met Vincent.
Mysterious, sexy, and unnervingly charming, Vincent Delacroix appeared out of nowhere and swept me off my feet. Just like that, I was in danger of losing my heart all over again. But I was ready to let it happen. (www.fantasticbookreview.com)
I loved this book because the characters pulled in and the mystery the setting of the book and the locations of where the characters are is unbelievable and readers will the two main characters as much as I did so hope you guys enjoy.

Torment by Lauren Kate
Torment by Lauren Kate
Hell on earth
That’s what it’s like for Luce to be apart from her fallen angel boyfriend, Daniel.
It took them an eternity to find one another, but now he has told her he must go away. Just long enough to hunt down the Outcasts—immortals who want to kill Luce. Daniel hides Luce at Shoreline, a school on the rocky California coast with unusually gifted students: Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans.
At Shoreline, Luce learns what the Shadows are, and how she can use them as windows to her previous lives. Yet the more Luce learns, the more she suspects that Daniel hasn’t told her everything. He’s hiding something—something dangerous.
What if Daniel’s version of the past isn’t actually true? What if Luce is really meant to be with someone else?
The second novel in the addictive FALLEN series . . . where love never dies. (www.goodreads.com)
Opinion: This book has nothing but secrets between the two main characters Lucinda and Daniel. Friendship is tested. There is also action in this book. What I loved was that Lucinda tries and never gives up on finding out about herself. This book is jaw dropping and written in an amazing way. Trust me readers, you will be begging for more, once you are done reading this book.

Fallen by Lauren Kate
Angels and… well… more angels and then fallen angels and angels who are sort of in between. Lucinda Price is not an angel. In fact she is spending her junior year of high school in a reform school called Sword and Cross. She has been bothered by shadowy images for much of her life and lately these shadows have begun to alter her life. She has come to Sword and Cross because of an accident involving a friend. She is not trusted by her parents and is very unsure of how her actions caused her to be at Sword and Cross. The one thing she is sure of is that when the shadows come… she cannot control them and bad things tend to happen. She begins to make friends at school but they are questionable friends.
After all they are all attending a reform school where they are locked in and watched by cameras and sent to detention and life is very regimented. Lucinda is drawn to one person at school and that is Daniel Gregori. (www.fantasybookreview.com)
Opinion: I personally have fallen in love with this book. There is so much intensity between the two main characters Lucinda Price and Daniel Grigori. You will love the fact that she doesn’t remember the love of her life. Readers will love the mystery and the suspense as Lucinda tries to learn who she is and about her past.

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
Nora should have know her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.
The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine? (Amazon)
Opinion: This book is the second novel in the “Hush Hush” series and readers will be shocked by the things that happen in this book. Readers will not be able to put this book down and they will be waiting for more. I personally loved this book and cant wait for the third book to come out.

Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
Nora Grey is responsible and smart and not inclined to be reckless. Her first mistake was falling for Patch. Patch has made countless mistakes and has a past that could be called anything but harmless. The best thing he ever did was fall for Nora.
After getting paired together in biology, all Nora wants to do is stay away from Patch, but he always seems to be two steps ahead of her. She can feel his eyes on her even when he is nowhere around. She feels him nearby even when she is alone in her bedroom. And when her attraction can be denied no longer, she learns the secret about who Patch is and what led him to her, as well as the dark path he is about to lead her down. Despite all the questions she has about his past, in the end, there may be only one question they can ask each other: How far are you willing to fall? (Amazon)
Opinion: This book is a mixture of suspense, love, action and mystery. Readers will be glued to this book. From one page to the other the whole mood of the book changes. The characters will draw you in. It’s an interesting book and it’s the first book of the series; we hope all the readers out there will love this book as much as we loved it and we hope you guys enjoy.
